“I see Rose carrying an eggshell away from the nest and dropping it maybe 15 feet from the nest,” Dolgan said. “I quickly then turned to the nest, and normally you could see speckled eggs. But this time, instead of four speckled eggs, there were three eggs, plus what looked like this little mass of feathers.”
