Family, friends and the Northwestern University community are on the search for Peter Salvino, a doctoral student who has been missing since early Sunday.
Salvino was last contacted through a FaceTime call just after midnight Saturday, Chicago police said. He was last known to have left a party on the 2400 block of North Geneva Terrace, where he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and maroon pant.

Chicago Police are leading the investigation. Northwestern University said in a news release that University representatives are in contact with Salvino’s family. Salvino’s parents, his friends and the university share “serious concern for his safety and overall well-being,” according to the release.
Police said he has brown hair and is about 6-feet-1. Police ask that anyone who spots him call Area 3 SVU.
