Ibrahim, who was named the Big Ten Running Back of the Year after tallying 1,076 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in only seven games, is ninth on the program’s all-time list with 2,840 rushing yards in 28 games. He’s in prime position to become just the third player in Gophers history to reach the 4,000-yard rushing mark, joining Darrell Thompson (4,654 in 44 games from 1986-89) and Rodney Smith (4,122 in 53 games from 2015-19).
