The Illini and Irish will meet in the Challenge for the third time in seven years when Notre Dame visits the State Farm Center on Nov. 29. The Irish won 84-79 in 2015 in Champaign — the first game in the renovated State Farm Center — and 76-74 in 2018 in South Bend, Ind.
