93.9 LITE FM Personalities to host a three-hour commercial free holiday kick-off

93.9 LITE FM announced today that it will broadcast around-the-clock Christmas music by today’s biggest artists along with classic Christmas hits beginning November 1, 2022 at 4 p.m. To welcome the holiday station flip, 93.9 LITE FM personalities Melissa Forman, Producer Jim, Robin Rock and Mick Lee will host and broadcast a three-hour commercial free holiday kick-off. Fans can listen in as the holiday music officially starts and will be able to send in song requests and participate in on-air festive games to get in the holiday spirit.

Fans can listen on air at 93.9 LITE FM, on the station’s website 939litefm.com well as on iHeartRadio.com and the app.

“We heard our listeners loud and clear,” said Mick Lee, 93.9 LITE FM Program Director and Afternoon Show Host. “The day after Halloween, listeners are ready to hear Christmas music on 93.9 LITE FM! As we change our colors from orange and black to red and green, Chicagoans will be sure to get in a festive mood with non-stop holiday music! We can’t wait to make new memories with our listeners and their family in our 22nd year as Chicago’s Christmas music station.”

“It is an honor and a pleasure to provide the holiday soundtrack to all of Chicagoland,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Chicago Region. “Nothing is more festive and fun than listening to Christmas music on 93.9 LITE FM!”
