“The need among the community is so great. Soaring gas prices have caused a hardship for too many of our citizens,” Wilson, a former mayoral, senate and presidential candidate, said in a written statement last week announcing a second giveaway. Wilson said the 49 participating gas stations have agreed to lower their prices so that recipients may get more gas.
