A Republican, Biggert, 84, was a member of the Illinois House before serving in Congress from 1999 until losing re-election in 2012. In Hinsdale, Biggert and her husband Rody, who died in 2018, paid $625,000 in 2016 for the town home, which is in the Ruth Lake Woods development.
