It was un-beer-lievable.

Fans at the Nebraska-Northwestern college football game in Ireland were treated to free concessions after the internet at the stadium crashed.

The Cornhuskers and Wildcats opened the season at Aviva Stadium in Dublin and fans were treated to a competitive game — a 31-28 Northwestern win — but more importantly, they were treated to free beer.

“The tills are down and we can’t take cash,” an Aviva Stadium concession worker told the Omaha World-Herald.

Social-media videos showed massive lines at concession stands for the free beer and free food.

“The only thing better than drinking beer while watching football is drinking free beer while watching football,” one attendee wrote on Twitter.

Others joked about Nebraska head coach Scott Frost joining the beer lines before calling for a questionable onside kick in the second half.

The Nebraska-Northwestern game was the third American college football game played in Ireland in recent years, following contests in 2012 and 2016.
