“The Village of Deerfield enacted a limitation on transient rentals, which was the purpose of the (2020) buyer,” real estate agent Alan Berlow of Coldwell Banker, who has represented parties in several transactions involving the home, told Elite Street. “They had it as a VRBO (rental) and then found out that the Village of Deerfield had a 30-day minimum on transient rentals, which didn’t fit in their needs, so then a buyer came along a few months later, and she bought the house and loves it.”
