Decades before jazz was heard in Bronzeville, sleigh bells rang as horses raced its snow-covered boulevard

F.T. Wetzel, 82, of 3641 N. Kedvale Ave., rides down a street in Chicago in his prized possession, a horse and sleigh more than 20 years old in February 1939.
