Will, Kankakee and Grundy counties are under a flood advisory for the Kankakee River until Saturday evening at 7 p.m. At 8:45 a.m. Thursday, the stage was 5.5 feet and slowly falling, and the water levels on the river are expected to continue falling. Minor lowland flooding begins at 5 feet in areas near the river.
