The May 11 postponed game between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday, July 23. Game 1, the makeup game, will begin at 12:10 p.m. CT and the regularly scheduled contest, Game 2, will start at 6:15 p.m.

Game tickets, parking and Huntington Bank Stadium Club passes from the postponement will be honored only for the 12:10 p.m. makeup game, the Sox said. Fans don’t need to exchange game tickets, parking passes or Stadium Club passes to attend the rescheduled game, the Sox said.

Wednesday’s game was postponed because of positive COVID-19 tests in the Guardians organization. It was the first coronavirus-related postponement of the 2022 MLB season.
