Chicago will host the WNBA All-Star Game for the first time, the league announced Thursday.
The game will be played July 10 at Wintrust Arena, where the Chicago Sky clinched their first WNBA championship in October after erasing an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter of Game 4 to beat the Phoenix Mercury.

In addition to the All-Star Game, the WNBA will hold a two-day “WNBA Live” event at McCormick Place, the league said in a release. Further details will be released at a later date.
“We are thrilled to turn AT&T WNBA All-Star 2022 into a weekend-long event that will give WNBA fans incredible opportunities to engage with our brand and partners who have stepped up to support the WNBA,” Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a statement.
