Many patients in their 40s, 50s and early 60s suffer from diabetes, cardiovascular problems, high cholesterol, obesity and these conditions can all intensify the severity of COVID, she said. So far, it’s uncertain which at-risk populations will be eligible and which ones will not, she said.
