Dalton, 33, signed a one-year, $10 million contract with the Bears in March. Six weeks later, the Bears drafted another quarterback, Justin Fields, as their top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. However, Bears head coach Matt Nagy has tapped Dalton as his starting quarterback for the season opener Sept. 12.
