“We just gave it to Isiaih Mosley, that’s pretty much handled all our shooting concerns,” Missouri State coach Dana Ford said. “He did a fantastic job getting to his sweet spots and playing off two feet. The future of Bears assistant coaches is to be determined. Defensive coordinator Sean Desai met with the Seattle Seahawks, who are seeking to hire a defensive coordinator, on Thursday. Former Bears assistant Clint Hurtt, the defensive line coach in Seattle, is also believed to be a candidate for that position.
Bowles went 24-40 in his first go-around as a head coach with the New York Jets from 2015-18. The Jets went 10-6 but missed the playoffs during his first season but then finished in last place in the AFC East each of the next three years. Bowles has been the Bucs defensive coordinator the last two seasons. He was in the same role for the Arizona Cardinals in 2013 and 2014, also under head coach Bruce Arians, whom he played for at Temple in the 1980s. Since entering the NFL as a secondary coach for the Jets in 2000, Bowles has spent time coaching with seven NFL teams.
“For many years, they have represented me, our team, organization and Atlanta with class, commitment and all the passion you would want in the leaders of the team,” Blank said. “But as everyone knows, this is a results business and I owe it to our fans to put the best product we can on the field. We have poured every resource possible into winning and will continue to do so, but the results of late do not meet our standard or what I’ve promised our fans.”

“He really blew me away as far as his leadership qualities,” Hendrickson said of Czichos. “Talking to him, I knew that, OK, this is a guy, yes, I like what I saw tactically, technically. But I think after speaking to him I knew that he was a guy that will be good for us and he’ll be a leader on this team.”
“For Alex to be in the air like that and take him down like that, he could’ve ended his career,” Donovan said of Allen. “And he has a history of this. That to me was really dangerous, and I really hope the league takes a hard look at that because he could’ve really, really seriously hurt him. He’s dealing with a wrist right now. I don’t know what the extent the wrist is, but just being there it’s really, really dangerous.
