“The former governor is complaining about lack of due process. But the problem is, he failed to present one witness, any shred of evidence or testify himself,” Durkin said. “So when someone complains about due process, and you have not availed yourself to due process, the complaint falls flat.”
“We’ve actually watched females sitting on platforms with a male in attendance, and the male will repeatedly approach the nest and present the female with a stick,” Anchor said. “And if she likes it, she’ll leave it. If she doesn’t like it, she’ll reach down, pick it up, and go to the edge of the platform and drop it.”

At about 1 a.m. July 27 an employee of Baba’s Famous Steak and Lemonade, 685 Sibley Blvd., called Dolton police concerned about a woman in a red vehicle who would not leave the facility’s drive thru window and said he saw a gun in her car. Video showed her at the window for a few minutes before she pulled away, but she returned and appeared to hit the window area with an object that looked like a metal pipe.
“While we are certainly disappointed in the Court’s decision, we will review the full opinion and explore all available options, including immediately filing an appeal and seeking relief from the appellate court,” a spokesperson for Protect Our Parks said in a statement on Thursday. “In addition, we will continue to vigorously pursue and present our arguments in court in the coming weeks.”
