Earlier this month, Gov. J.B. Pritzker required state employees who work in congregate settings, such as prisons and veterans’ homes, to be vaccinated by Oct. 4. Dietrich said the election board can investigate if it believes crypto donations are being used to subvert reporting requirements, but Kent Redfield, a campaign finance expert and professor emeritus of political science at the University of Illinois at Springfield, doesn’t see cryptocurrency changing much about political donations in the state.
