“On our website, we will be reporting out cases daily. We will be more complete. We will not only just show active cases, we’ll show quarantine. Please give us some grace, because it is daily, that means there will be some clean up of data,” Martinez said.

Then, roughly six minutes later, state police responded to the southbound side of the Bishop Ford Freeway at 130th Street Thursday at 1:26 a.m. to investigate another shooting with no injuries reported. Following an investigation, all lanes were reopened around 3:45 a.m., state police said.
Along with eight residents who were unable to stay in the charred homes, at least four puppies also needed oxygen after they were found experiencing difficulty breathing. Fire officials said the pups were pulled from the rear coach houses, but did not specify whether they were all rescued from one home or if they lived in separate dwellings.

Four “unintended targets,” were shot — one of them was critically hurt, said McDermott, who did not elaborate on their ages or genders. A fifth person, who McDermott called a “possible suspect,” was also shot and taken to a hospital. Responding officers rendered aid to at least one of the victims.
