An 11-page indictment unsealed Wednesday charged Charles Liggins, also known as “C Murda,” Kenneth Roberson, Christopher Thomas, Tacarlos Offerd, and Marcus Smart, with committing murder in aid of racketeering as well as various firearms offenses.
Despite his loss, he sat on the union’s executive board due to his position as immediate past president. Martin Prieb, a second vice president under Graham, then attempted to have Angelo thrown out of the union for speaking to reporters during then-Officer Jason Van Dyke’s 2018 trial for McDonald’s fatal shooting. But a disciplinary panel found no evidence of wrongdoing and recommended no disciplinary action be taken against Angelo, which the union’s executive board voted in agreement with, clearing him of any wrongdoing.

The girl, a student at the school, was shot in the abdomen and was in critical condition at Comer Children’s Hospital, police said. The guard was shot in the left arm and back and was in fair condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.

Where is that money going to come from?’ So we have to see, and have those discussions.”
