“Listening to some of the speeches today, I feel like Christmas has come early,” said Southwest Side Ald. About 1:26 a.m., the boy got into a verbal altercation with a man and a woman while on the State Street platform, according to a police notification. The man then chased the boy with a broom and the woman stabbed him in the leg with scissors.
