On Nov. 19, 2013, the same day an article about Esteviz’s arrest was published by the Tribune, Moreno contacted DCFS and said Esteviz no longer wanted his name associated with the day care center “because he was looking into other business ventures,” the report states. DCFS told Moreno that Esteviz needed to send the agency a letter saying he wasn’t interested in applying for a day care license.

Separately, the Lake Forest, Illinois-based company said it swung to a quarterly loss of $35 million, or 42 cents a share. The adjusted loss totaled $10 million. Revenue declined 6% year-over-year to $4.39 billion as the entire automotive industry grappled with a crippling shortage of computer chips.

“What we’re looking to do here is have the ability, with a server inside of the auditorium, to deliver directly to the guest at their seat,” said Rob Novak, the vice president of concessions and food & beverage for Marcus Theaters. “Otherwise, the guest is going to have to actually get up, leave the auditorium, go out into the lobby, go up to the bar and order a drink.”
