Walmart, the nation’s largest private employer, said in late July it was requiring all workers at its headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, as well as its managers who travel within the U.S., to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 4. But the company had stopped short of requiring shots for its frontline workers.

The uproar over Ferguson began after Cynthia DeNicolo, a former longtime assistant producer on his show, sued the radio host in May, alleging he coerced her into a sexual relationship and harassed her after it ended. His lawyers have denied those allegations. McGurren later alleged in court filings she was “mentally and verbally abused, harassed, put into tears, yelled at, belittled, ignored, mocked” by Ferguson. Both McGurren and DeNicolo each have filed individual defamation suits against the station owner, Hubbard Radio Chicago, and two other women filed legal statements in support of those claims.
The store will have national brands, local brands like Revolution Brewing and Lillie’s Q, as well as Amazon-owned brands 365 by Whole Foods Market, Aplenty and wine brand, Cursive. There will be prepared foods including pizza, rotisserie chickens and hot sandwiches, along with a hot bar expected to open in the coming months.

Built in 1959, the 5,230-square-foot house technically has six bedrooms, although it’s currently configured with four bedrooms and two offices. The home has four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, hardwood floors on the first floor, recessed lighting, a kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and a large island, and a rec room with built-in shelving. The living room has a fireplace, crown moldings and a large picture window, and the family room has double-wide sliding doors that open to a private deck and fenced backyard. A second-floor primary bedroom suite has a large walk-in California closet, a sitting room with a gas fireplace, a whirlpool, double sinks and a bidet.

Even though in-person visits are back, Santa’s also still taking video calls. Some families may prefer the virtual options, either because visits can feel more personal or they can include grandparents or other relatives who don’t live nearby, said Walt Geer, CEO of Zuhoo, which began offering virtual Santa visits last year under the name JingleRing through a partnership with some local malls.
