Stellar defense by Ashley Schlabowske, Anna Hartman and Molli Ward sparked the Corsairs in a win against Benet and a close loss to Libertyville.

3. Deerfield 23-5 (4)

Olivia Kerndt, stepping up at the end of the season, scored 15 points in a win against Highland Park.

4. Lake Zurich 22-7 (3)

Tough news for the Bears: Molly Friesen is out for an estimated two weeks, and Avery Cooper is out for the season with a knee injury.

5. Lake Forest 21-9 (6)

Sarah Constantine is making defenses pay for overlooking her, taking pressure off Rachel Kaus and Bella Ranallo.

Aniyah Moody had 16 points and 20 rebounds and Lilli Burton had 18 points and 15 rebounds in a win against Grayslake North.

10. Grayslake North 18-11 (7)

Reagan Kuzynowski and Dani Hanson each is averaging 2.2 assists for the Knights.
