Boka in May unveiled plans to open another new Chicago restaurant at 564 W. Randolph St., west of the Loop between the Chicago River and the Kennedy Expressway. That Italian restaurant, called Alla Vita, will be led by chef Lee Wolen. It replaces another Boka concept, called Bellemore, that closed during the pandemic.

“He’s definitely a leader out there,” outfielder Adam Engel said. “He was one of the guys in the outfield I was able to bounce ideas off of. Biden made a trip to LaCrosse, Wisconsin, last week to promote a bipartisan deal on infrastructure. Western Wisconsin is a key swing area in the key swing state of Wisconsin. Democrat U.S. Rep. Ron Kind narrowly held onto his seat representing the western Wisconsin district, which Biden lost to Trump. The president, however, kept the margins close enough there to defeat Trump in a state the former president won in 2016

And for those who plan a night on the lake, boaters also should expect gusty winds, waves, and lightning. Wind speeds could reach 30 knots, or nearly 35 mph, according to the weather service, which issued a marine weather statement for many Chicago harbors, including Calumet, 31st Street, Jackson Park, Diversey and DuSable.
