“That’s one of those keys, to continue to pitch into the ballgame, get us some more outs, especially in today’s (doubleheader),” manager David Ross said. “It was nice for him to settle in and still give us some outs after that, but things happen quick, especially here (in the majors) sometimes, and he settled in nicely and definitely locked it back in. “Even brought the curveball out a few times,” Giolito said. “But it was more the sequencing. All right, now you get a few days to see a different defense, see how they’re playing certain things.”

On July 30, JG IL LLC, Emerald Coast LLC, and Renu LLC, represented by the firm of civil rights attorney Jon Loevy, a founder of licensed cannabis grower Justice Grown, filed a federal lawsuit alleging scoring screw-ups, and asking the court to order them to be included in the lotteries.
