His final opponent is second-seeded Daniil Medvedev of Russia, who bested 12th-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime, 6-4, 7-5, 6-2, in the other semifinal Friday. Medvedev, a 2019 Open finalist, is a viable threat to upend Djokovic’s pursuit. But many pegged Zverev as the most likely to pull off an upset, especially after he toppled Djokovic at the Tokyo Olympics.

Minutes later in the Austin neighborhood, a 27-year-old man was in front of a residence in the 5500 block of West Adams Street at approximately 12:58 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain. He was struck in the head and shoulder, according to a police notification. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
In the 1990s, Etters was busy painting 10 to 15 murals a year, for $3,500 a piece or more.
