2 men killed in separate Chicago incidents Friday afternoon

Minutes later in the Austin neighborhood, a 27-year-old man was in front of a residence in the 5500 block of West Adams Street at approximately 12:58 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain. He was struck in the head and shoulder, according to a police notification. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
