Tune out the noise and sometimes read between the lines to understand what is going on. The Bears aren’t going into a lot of specifics about where Fields needs to improve in order for a depth-chart change. It’s likely they want to accentuate the positives — and there are plenty — while choosing to keep instructive points private. It will become unavoidable, of course, if the team gets further into the schedule and the offense is struggling, as it did the last two seasons.

“The biggest crime that has been committed to our community has been disinvestment,” Coleman said. “We are worthy, we are excellent, and I don’t care what anyone says. … We deserve every opportunity, every resource, every festival … every job fair as (much as) any other community that’s thriving in the city of Chicago. And we have to start with us first.”
I’m confused. He says he wants to be in this relationship (we’ve lived together for over a year), but acts poorly, and while I am not perfect and do often yell back (and feel terrible about it), I also believe I am protecting myself, albeit not in the best way.
Only 9,400 students and 6,200 staff members have signed up for the testing program, which is voluntary except for unvaccinated staff members and unvaccinated or half-vaccinated student-athletes during their sports seasons. CPS has not released attendance numbers for this school year, but the district hoped to welcome back more than 300,000 students on Aug. 30.
Parading in caravans is nothing new and many other ethnic groups partake in similar celebrations to commemorate their Independence Day. Puerto Ricans, the largest group of Latinos after Mexicans in Chicago, also adorn their cars with their flags and parade once a year. During the September festivities, people from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua join to honor their Independence Day on Sept. 15, as do Chileans on Sept. 18.
James T. Owens, 21, was arrested and is alleged to have driven his 2001 Mazda Tribute across the center line and into oncoming traffic, crashing head-on with a Prairie Grove School District bus at 8:15 a.m. on East Crystal Lake Avenue near Hamilton Drive, the McHenry County sheriff’s office said in a news release.
“I know Roberto Clemente Jr. a little bit from some of the stuff we worked with him in the past, and it’s such a good family, and if I can even just be a speck of sand on the Clemente legacy of what he was able to do for a long time, that’s a win in my books because he was — from what I understand, everything he did philanthropically was was unbelievable,” Hendriks said. “And I think he really was a trendsetter in that realm.”
