For the fourth straight season, Tabor’s special teams unit produced a Pro Bowl player as return specialist Jakeem Grant was selected to the NFC team. Grant is the third Bears returner to be named to the Pro Bowl in the past four years, following Cordarrelle Patterson (2019 and 2020) and Tarik Cohen (2018).

Johnson “got up and said ‘if it hadn’t been for this man here, I wouldn’t be the man I am today,’” Haymore said. “A lot of wealthy Black men know they owe everything to Mr. Fuller. He was incredible.”
“We’d have like a four-game tour through say, Nova Scotia, and you’re on the bus and get to the hotel, same hotel as Canada, and we just played them the night before,” Granato recalled. “The elevator door opens and there’s five Canadians in it, and they’re looking at you like `You’re not getting on this elevator. And if you do, you’re not going to be very happy.’”
“So I can’t imagine while she was watching that live,” he said of his wife, Annie. “They actually came out — my son was out for the first time ever on 3 and 4, and I don’t know where they went from there. … So, yeah, I mean, my parents are here too, so not only do I have to explain to my wife, I got to explain to my mom, my dad.”
“I would love to ski today, but I would not love to ski in unfair conditions,” said Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, a Norwegian who leads the World Cup downhill and super-G standings and was fastest in Friday’s second training session. “The wind here is a big, big challenge. And it’s a pity, because you have good weather, you have good snow, you have a perfect slope. We just have to stay patient and do the best.”
Snow cover is good for your garden, as it will insulate against any intense cold and fluctuating winter temperatures. The snow cover will help mitigate the temperature extremes and reduce the penetration of cold on days and nights when temperatures are very cold (in the teens and below). Without snow, the ground can freeze more deeply. Plants that were produced in containers and installed last year can heave out of the ground because of the freeze/thaw cycles that typically occur in late winter and early spring, if they were not mulched last fall. Think of the snow as mulch for your garden, in addition to creating a beautiful winter scene.
