Gov. J.B. Pritzker will sign a $46.5 billion budget this morning. Illinois lawmakers approved the budget earlier this month that includes $1.8 billion in largely temporary election-year tax relief and a $1 billion deposit into the state’s rainy day fund.

“I thought we missed a lot of opportunities in the first half in transition,” coach Billy Donovan said. “I didn’t think that we did very well in the break. We had opportunities there.
