Along with the two existing Waukegan facilities and a third coming, Polochak said Amazon already has nine fulfillment or sortation centers in Illinois, eight delivery stations, a tech hub, an air gateway, five other hub lockers and other necessary operations. More than 36,000 people are employed by the company statewide.
