“Obviously the talent’s there, but their work ethic, they’re very close; they all want to one-up each other,” Katz said. “They might not talk about it, but we do have a competitive bullpen. One’s going to want to do better than the other. They’re very competitive. They want to be the best pitchers in baseball, each one of them. They work extremely hard to prepare to be that.”
