Sixth-generation RAV4 goals:
Electrification – hybrids and plug-in hybrids only moving forward.
Diversification – three distinct trims (Core, Woodland, GR Sport) designed to meet different customer lifestyles.
Smart Intelligence – tighter integration with daily life through the new multimedia system and voice assistant.
Promise: more excitement and fun to drive without losing the RAV4’s global appeal.
Three Main RAV4 Flavors
1. Core (Limited = Hero Model)
Premium styling cues: color-keyed bumper, satin chrome grille accents, LED headlights & DRLs, and up to 20-inch wheels.
Interior highlights:
Limited seat design for comfort.
Panoramic moonroof standard.
Shift-by-wire shifter (RAV4 first).
Dual Qi wireless charging pads (Toyota first).
12.9-inch multimedia + 12.3-inch digital cluster, integrated nav directions.
3D panoramic view monitor, digital rearview mirror.
Position: the tech-luxury choice for daily drivers.
2. Woodland (Rugged Identity)
Now a permanent trim (previously special edition).
Exterior: Hammerhead grille, Rigid Industries fog lights, 18-inch rugged wheels with all-terrain tires, tow hitch, roof rails with crossbars.
Interior:
New “Mineral” interior with orange accents.
Exclusive soft-touch panels and trail-inspired touches.
Smart storage features (convertible cupholders, dual-opening armrest).
3D multi-terrain monitor.
10.5-inch multimedia (not 12.9”).
One Qi wireless charger.
Position: the adventure / off-road RAV4.
3. GR Sport (Performance Identity)
Developed with Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR).
Exterior: GR Functional Matrix grille, aggressive vertical LED accent lights, exclusive 20-inch wheels, GR-branded red calipers, piano black accents, rear spoiler, GR Sport badging.
Charging: J-type port, Level 1/2 charging, ~50 miles EV before hybrid kicks in.
Interior:
GR badging everywhere (sill plates, mats, steering wheel, seats).
Sport suede/SofTex seats with red stitching.
Aluminum pedals.
12.9-inch multimedia + GR-exclusive startup animation in the digital cluster.
Position: the sporty, plug-in hybrid flagship—Toyota’s “first performance plug-in.”
