A 14-year-old boy was shot while inside a vehicle Thursday afternoon in South Chicago, police said.
Shortly before 1 p.m., the boy was shot in the chest while in a vehicle in the 2300 block of East 80th Street. He was taken to South Shore Hospital in an unknown condition, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
