Officers were called to the 11300 block of South Wentworth Avenue on the Far South Side about 1:10 a.m. Two women, one 40 and the other 30, had been shot as they sat on a porch, police said. The 40-year-old was shot in the torso and she was rushed to Advocate Christ MEdical Center in Oak Lawn where she was pronounced dead.
