The pilot, 39-year-old Jason Bufton, took three female passengers, all of whom are from Wilmington, up in a “small, white Beechcraft airplane,” which landed on the southbound lanes of I-355 near Interstate 80 about 11:18 a.m., according to Master Sgt. Brian McKinney of the state police 15th District.
