The person was one of three people rescued from the crushed trailer just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Winnebago County authorities told the weather service. The tree was one of many that were damaged by the thunderstorms that swept through northern Illinois, bringing heavy gusts of wind to the area for the third consecutive day.
