“The three iconic Chicago players, obviously, there’s going to be a lot of competition for their services in the market, so of course in theory you’d love to have those players back and sometimes they’re hard decisions that a team has to make,” Hoyer said. “I’m not going to shut the door on anything, but I do feel like there has to be some awareness of what it would take financially and what that would mean over the next five years and what that would mean to the rest of the team.”

“I don’t think that’s a positive,” Hoyer said. “Our players, especially guys that have been here for a long time, have built up an incredible equity in the community with the fans. And making a personal choice, and one they’re probably not going to articulate to the fans, it’d be a shame if the fans decided to take all that equity and get rid of it.”
Keuchel got what had the makings of an inning-ending double play in the sixth when Randal Grichuk hit a grounder to third with a runner on first and one out. But instead of throwing to second, Yoán Moncada threw to first. The next batter, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., drove in a run with a single to make it 3-2.

Anderson, who died in 2008, molested and digitally penetrated them during physical exams decades ago. They also talked about how Bo Schembechler, a Michigan icon whose statue stands outside a university building that bears his name, refused to protect them and allowed Anderson to continue abusing players and other patients for years.

The lawsuit sought $100 million in compensatory damages and $1 billion in punitive damages. The lawyer said he represented the Washington-based Job Creators Network, described in the lawsuit as a nonpartisan organization supporting more than 30 million businesses nationwide, including more than 10,000 in Georgia.

Currently six bowl games have a three-year rotation for hosting the semifinals and the championship game site is open to bidders, similar to the what the NFL does with the Super Bowl. The current semifinal bowl rotation includes the Rose, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta, Cotton and Peach bowls, not they are not guaranteed to be hosts in the proposed expansion plan.
