In 2019, two friends from far north suburban Zion were convicted by a federal jury in 2019 of attempting to aid the terrorist group by providing cellphones to an undercover FBI agent to be used as detonators for bombs. Joseph Jones was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while his co-defendant, Edward Schimenti, received 13½ years behind bars.

“I was on the line of scrimmage to the left, came on a blitz on the outside,” Ogletree said. “They pulled, the guard tried to knock me upfield, but I sped back. Obviously he likes to step up in the pocket. So I got to the level of the quarterback, spun back around and he fell right into my arms. I wish I would’ve gotten the ball out, but it was a good sack for sure.”

“Every day, every single moment, I’m going to give Ben a chance to join the team and be part of the team,” Rivers said. “He’s under contract to be part of the team, and that’s not going to change.
