On Wednesday, Jackie Spinner, an associate professor of journalism who sometimes writes about the media, including the Tribune, was bringing her toddler to see an exhibit of Pete Souza photos of President Barack Obama, allowed as a campus event open to the public. There are only so many ways to write about how the team has players at the position who can be deployed more in the passing game. It has been a storyline for the entirety of the Matt Nagy era, and with the exception of Jimmy Graham leading the Bears with eight receiving touchdowns in 2020, the position has garnered way more attention than performance has warranted. The reasons are endless, but it starts with play calling, execution and, in some cases, talent.
“Looking back it’s such a great time that I had there, a lot of great memories, we raised a family there, that’s still home,” Gano said. “As frustrating as it was, I’d like to focus on being thankful for that opportunity. After getting released by Washington, they gave me a chance to play again, and I was thankful for that.”

In October, The Gwen began rolling out a series of new events and amenities. On its rooftop, Upstairs at The Gwen, guests are offered hot cocktails and warm blankets to hold off the crisp fall air. For drinks, the property’s beverage manager crafted a tarot card-themed menu, where each cocktail accentuates the traits the cards possess. “Tipsy tea” is offered for couples and small groups to sit around to chat or “spill the tea.” These boozy beverages will be offered with light snacks such as candy apple-flavored macaroons and pumpkin choux, a type of pastry.
A relative of Cardwell discovered her body during a weekly visit, police said. At the time, investigators believed Cardwell had been killed the previous night or earlier that morning, and noted that there was no sign of forced entry to her room and nothing appeared to be stolen, according to the Tribune. Police said residents of the building did not report hearing anything unusual.
