“The 14-team format MLB originally proposed offers significant advantages to division winners and provides incentives to win at every level of the bracket,” MLB spokesman Glen Caplin said Saturday. “In an effort to compromise, MLB accepted a 12-team format after the discussion of formats, including a ‘ghost game.’ MLB made clear that the ‘ghost game’ raises serious issues and is not a viable path forward.”
But moving the home is no small task. The weight of the house, which is constructed of brick and metal, and nearby power lines make it tough to relocate. Julia Thavong, preservation planner for the Kane County Development Department, said the cost to complete the relocation is about $500,000.

Federer told SRF his rehabilitation was progressing well enough that he was now thinking in terms of playing again. Previously, he said the motivation for undergoing surgery last August was to protect his future quality of life with his family rather than return to competitive tennis.
“I remember being a (physical education) teacher and thinking, ‘I am a basketball player,’ and my 8:30 class happened to be basketball,” Quigley said. “I remembering thinking, ‘I am just going to skip it and get some sleep since I am on the basketball team.’ He found out, and it was the scariest day of my life.”
“(Expletive), take one of my dogs out like that, we’re going to have issues,” Thompson said. “You’ve got to set the tone. That’s what Bulls basketball’s about: setting a tone. What he did affected one of our guys, and I don’t think anyone should forget about that. … If guys want to play chippy, let’s play chippy. I like a little blood and sweat, so I enjoy it.
