Around 2 p.m., officers were called to the Nieman Marcus, at 737 N. Michigan Ave., where they met with a manager, the report said. The manager said that through security cameras, they saw that Latham took a belt and two buckles and put them in his jacket pockets. The merchandise cost about $995 before taxes.
If a region has fewer than 200 cases per 100,000 residents in the past week but has at least 20 COVID-19 hospital admissions per 100,000 residents, as well as at least 15% of its inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients, then it is “high” risk. If the area has 200 or more positive cases, then it’s considered high risk if it has at least 10 hospitalizations and at least 10% of occupied inpatient beds.
“It’s great to know the draft report is ready. However, if the Mayor moves forward and reinstalls the Columbus statue, it seems to me that she is making that decision unilaterally, yet our names as a committee will inevitably be attached to that decision,” Rakowitz wrote. “While I have not been present for the conversations with communities, I cannot imagine that this is what we would have decided as a committee. “As I said in 2019 when the situation happened, part of what I learned was that as you deal with personal stuff, I don’t know how deep I’ll go into this part publicly but I was shuffling back and forth between Springfield,” Buckner said. “My father was at that point, we thought, on his deathbed. “This (site) will get built, whether it’s built by us or if for whatever reason we are not awarded the casino, it’ll be built by other developers,” Soo Kim, chairman of Rhode Island-based Bally’s, told the audience. “That traffic is coming. Our site, not only is it reductive … it also gives the most amount of flexibility in terms of how we move the traffic around the entire 30 acres.”
