Police are searching for the driver of a fatal hit-and-run in Uptown that killed a 69-year-old woman.
The woman was in the crosswalk of the street around 10:30 p.m. near 5100 North Broadway when a black sedan struck and killed her, police said.
The Chicago Fire Department transported her to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Police said there is no one in custody and the Major Accidents unit is investigating.
