The toddler was inside a home on the 8800 block of South Euclid Avenue at 3:40 p.m. April 22 when he was shot, police said at the time.

He was initially taken to Jackson Park Hospital and then moved to Comer Children’s Hospital. There have been no arrests related to the shooting and detectives are investigating, police said Sunday.

A 6-year-old girl was shot in the Woodlawn neighborhood a few hours later that afternoon. Police said she was in good condition at Comer Children’s Hospital on the day of the April 22 shooting.

Over 154 people have been killed in homicides in Chicago this year. At least 25 of the people killed were 19 years old or younger, city data shows.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
