Eden Echevarria smacked a two-run walk-off homer to beat Grant on Tuesday and keep the Sequoits unbeaten.

2. Carmel 10-1 (2)

Camryn Rapplean is providing quality at-bats in clutch situations and playing well in center field.

3. Stevenson 6-3-1 (7)

The Patriots’ impressive wins against Conant and Waukegan spark hope for a run at the North Suburban Conference title.

4. Warren 11-5 (4)

Kaitlyn Weidemann is sparking the offense from the leadoff spot, finishing with seven hits last week, and playing solid defensively.

5. Libertyville 11-7 (6)

Makayla Boone, a consistent force in the third spot in the order, has six home runs and 18 RBIs.

6. Wauconda 10-6 (3)

Bryn Lucht had four hits, including two home runs, and five RBIs in losses to Barrington and Carmel.

7. Mundelein 11-3 (5)

Freshman shortstop Casey Vyverman is showing off her defensive skills to help a young pitching staff.

Tara Levernier is contributing with timely hits and consistent work on the mound.

10. Grayslake Central 3-5 (NR)

Freshmen Kate Davies and Angela Ayala have shown tremendous improvement, especially at the plate.

Grayslake Central junior catcher Eliza Piggott went 6-for-11 with two home runs, two doubles, six RBIs and five runs scored in three games.
