The WNBA announced Thursday that the 2023 All-Star Game will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Michelob Ultra Arena on July 15. The events will be hosted by the hometown, defending champion Aces and feature two days of “WNBA Live” fan events, the league announced.

The three-point competition and skills challenge will take place on July 14.

“The WNBA is thrilled to bring AT&T WNBA All-Star 2023, to Las Vegas, a city that showed such incredible support for the Aces and the WNBA throughout last season, especially during the WNBA Finals presented by YouTube TV when the Aces brought the city its first professional sports championship,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.

“This will be the third AT&T WNBA All-Star Game to take place in Las Vegas, where we had memorable experiences in 2019 and 2021.”

The last time the All-Star Game took place in Las Vegas in 2021, the showcase’s featured format was WNBA All-Stars vs. USA Basketball Women’s National Team. Dallas Stars’ guard Arike Ogunbowale propelled Team WNBA All-Stars to a 93-85 victory. Ogunbowale was named Most Valuable Player after scoring a game-high 26 points.

“We’re excited to once again host the league’s signature showcase event in the sports and entertainment capital of the world,” said Aces president Nikki Fargas.

On the same day this year’s All-Star Game venue was unveiled, the Liberty extended qualifying offers to guards Crystal Dangerfield, Marine Johannes and center Han Xu. The players are now restricted free agents and will be able to begin signing offer sheets on Feb. 1.
