Three police officers were injured Friday night when a driver fled a traffic stop and struck one of them, then struck a parked vehicle before fleeing on foot and two more officers were hurt in the Lakeview neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 9:30 p.m., officers were curbing a vehicle in the 3200 block of North Sheffield Avenue when the driver reversed and struck one of them. The driver then fled in the vehicle and hit a parked vehicle before fleeing on foot, police said.

The driver was taken into custody in the 900 block of West School Street, but two more officers were hurt during the foot pursuit. All three officers were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Charges were pending against the driver.
