A passenger of a white SUV was killed in a two vehicle crash early Saturday morning on the South Side in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 2 a.m., a 45-year-old woman was driving a white SUV headed west on 51st Street when a pick-up truck struck the SUV at a stop light at State Street after blowing a red light.

A 46-year-old passenger in the SUV was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The driver was taken to the same hospital and listed in critical condition, police said. An 18-year-old man driving the pick-up truck was not injured.
As of Saturday morning the victim had not been identified.
