Actress and model Yaya DaCosta on Monday placed her three-bedroom, 2,200-square-foot triplex condo on the Near West Side on the market for $1.3 million.
DaCosta, 39, was on the NBC medical drama “Chicago Med” from 2015 until 2021. She left “Chicago Med” to star in the Fox drama “Our Kind of People,” which was canceled after one season.

On the Near West Side, DaCosta paid $795,000 in 2017 through a land trust for the loft-style unit, which is on the top floor of a converted factory building. The unit has 2½-1/2 bathrooms, covered concrete ceilings, tongue-and-groove oak hardwood floors throughout and arched windows.
According to listing information, the condo has been completely renovated and has a kitchen with an anchored island, a mitered quartz countertop with waterfall edges, a built-in slim wine refrigerator, all-white cabinetry with built-in drawer pulls, a single undermount deep sink with a disposal, a Bosch dishwasher, a Bosch French Door refrigerator with incognito panels and a Thermador high-output gas range.

Other features include a first-floor powder room with a floating walnut vanity, a primary bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and gold plumbing fixtures and lighting, and a private roof deck made of Trex decking.
Listing agent Nicholas Colagiovanni did not respond to a request for comment.
The unit had a $13,137 property tax bill in the 2020 tax year. It is on the fifth floor of a building that has been popular with actors appearing in producer Dick Wolf’s four Chicago-based dramas, including “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago P.D.” Taylor Kinney, Norma Kuhling and Marina Squerciati also have owned in the building.
